What I Do

01

Adult Education

I want to provide knowledge for individuals in a way that is engaging, consumable and fun.

Currently work with an organization creating a 13 week job-embedded learning experience to help support our youngest learners. I work with the subject matter experts to bring their content to life with e-learning activities such as drag and drops, hot spots, quizzes and much more. Over 200 activities created and growing as we are transitioning their orientation onto the online learning management system, Tovuti.

Web Design

I want to create an individual or organizations vision for them.

After graduating from the Web Development program, I am glad to know more about the front and back-end of coding. I enjoy the puzzle of finding out how the items all need to fit together to create the site. I gained knowledge in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, React but didn’t pursue a career in writing all of the code for a site. I currently help update websites that live on WordPress.

UX/UI

I want to make experiences simple, clean accessible and meaningful.

Gaining the User Interface Certification allowed me to gain the skills and knowledge around different designs, platforms and learning experiences. I created user personas, wireframes and prototypes on Figma. I also utilize Canva for images, icons and other areas of design need.

ECE and Youth

I want to contribute to the success of our kids by supporting the adult that is providing learning.

In partnership with early childhood programs, I am a CLASS certified observer for Infant, Toddler and PreK. I visit classrooms and observe teacher and child interactions to collect data and continue to strive for quality programs for our children.

In partnership with the Indiana Department Education I am a federal grant reviewer for 21st Century and REACH. I also support new grantees to DOE in providing coaching to quality programs.
